January 22, 2025

EdTech company I Hate Flying Bugs Inc. (CEO Chanyong Park) announced that it had successfully completed the “AI Digital Textbook Training Program for Secondary School Teachers in Incheon.” Organized by I Hate Flying Bugs Inc., the program was designed to enhance the skills of teachers who will utilize AI digital textbooks in the classroom. It also aimed to promote teaching methods based on these new resources.

Building on the theoretical training from the first phase, this program focused on developing practical (Phase 2) and applied (Phase 3) skills related to AI digital textbooks. In the practical phase, participants gained hands-on experience with AI digital textbooks and tools, developing real-world application capabilities. The application phase emphasized combining theory and practice to create lesson plans that could be directly implemented in classrooms.

The hub-based training program drew significant attention and was completed by 1,177 Incheon region secondary school teachers (teaching English, Math, and IT). Particularly in the application phase, the training incorporated certified AI digital textbooks, enabling participants to design lessons and explore case studies of educational applications. This approach received positive feedback for providing practical support to participating teachers.

CEO Chanyong Park of I Hate Flying Bugs Inc. remarked, “AI digital textbooks are more than just educational tools; they are key elements driving a paradigm shift in learning, and we hope this training enables more teachers to effectively use AI digital textbooks and lead educational innovation.”

I Hate Flying Bugs Inc. plans to continue offering a variety of digital-based training programs to further strengthen the capabilities of educators and spearhead efforts to shape the future of education.
